Health Visiting Service
The aim of the Health Visiting Service is to work in partnership with individuals, families and communitties to identify, raise awareness and address health and social care needs. Health visitors offer information and support on many health related issues. To find your nearest Health Visitor please contact your local G.P or local Health Centre.

Help!
The programme is for parents or full time carers of children 5+, young people or adults who have a recent diagnosis of an autistic spectrum disorder (within the last 12 months). The help programme will be offered in 3 age groups though the demand will determine whic age group will be covered in each location and whether the focus will be autism or aspergers syndrome. The age groups are 5-11, 12-16, 17-adult. The programme consists of an introductory day, six 3 hour core sessions, a closing/farewell session and will be delivered flexibly to respond to local circumstances.

Hickleton Youth Project
The Hickleton Youth Project is a youth club for young people in the Dearne Valley. Facilities include: *Games Room, *Arts and Crafts, *Pool, *Snooker, *Computer Room, *DVD, *PS2 plus trips and educational visits.

High View Primary Learning Centre
Community Primary School for children aged 5 to 11 years. This school also has a nursery unit for children aged 3 and 4 years.

Voluntary Controlled Secondary School for children aged 11 to 16 years old.

Holy Cross Deanery Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary
Voluntary Aided Primary School for children aged 5 to 11 years. This school also has pre-five admission.

Voluntary Aided Primary School for children aged 5 to 11 years. This school also has a nursery unit for children aged 3 and 4 years.

Home-Start Barnsley
Home-Start is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with children under five. Trained volunteers offer support, friendship and practical help to families through weekly home visits carried out 7 days a week, morning, afternoon and evening. Individual and group support is also available through family drop-ins, each meeting weekly throughout the year including school holidays when older children are particularly welcome. All services are free.
